Thanks to the economy-building work of the past 10 years, funds will continue to be available to support the development of families, religious life and the economy, said Minister of Finance Mihály Varga at the consecration and handover ceremony of the new Reformed church in Mezőpanit on Sunday.

The Budapest government provided more than HUF 350 million in budget support for the construction of the church in the settlement near Marosvásárhely Mihály Varga emphasized that the Hungarian government considers the issue of national unity, the joint progress of Hungarians abroad and the motherland, and the preservation of Europe's Christian roots, culture and values, to be important. According to his description, since 2010, 3,000 churches have been renovated and almost 150 have been built in Hungary and in the Hungarian-inhabited parts of the Carpathian Basin with the support of the government.
