Katalin Cseh, a member of the European Parliament (EP) of Momentum, denied on Tuesday night's News of the current channel M1 that she was the politician who, according to information from an internet site, had something to do with almost five billion forints in EU support through "friendly companies".

According to the EP representative, the story was invented by Fidesz because its anti-corruption activities disturb the ruling party.

Híradó reported that the editors of bennfentes.net received and then published a video on Sunday and Monday, in which a figure wearing an Anonymus mask promised to bring down a "two-faced" politician. According to the portal's article on Tuesday, Pannónia Nyomda Kft., formerly under the management of Katalin Cseh, and through the companies connected to it, more than HUF 4.5 billion of public money landed with a momentous politician and his business partners.

Katalin Cseh called the Hírado absurd and fabricated claims about her in the article. At the same time, he admitted that Pannónia Nyomda Kft. won EU tenders, but he knows that the company met the requirements stipulated in the tender. He added that he resigned from his executive position after submitting the first application.

The EP representative also called it unfounded that more than four billion forints of public money went to businesses connected to his former company.

"I have nothing to do with these companies, and of course I reject the slander that I have anything to do with this money," said the opposition politician, promising legal proceedings due to the allegations that appeared about him.

Híradó explained that the bennfentes.net portal also promised new information.
