The rock oratorio "Hungarian Mass" was composed to the music of the Ferenc Prize-winning composer Erkel László Tolcsvay and the text of the Kossuth Prize-winning composer and lyricist Béla Tolcsvay. It premiered in 1987. During its decades-long success story, it was presented in many places in the Carpathian Basin and the world.

The structure of the work follows the Roman Catholic liturgy, and a transcription suitable for church performance was completed almost twenty years ago, and since then it is often heard as part of the Holy Mass, as an integral part of the liturgy. Since its premiere, the piece has been played hundreds of times.

It has been proven that his message fulfills its mission within the walls of concert halls, at open-air performances and in sanctified places, churches and congregations, that is, he proclaims the Hungarian nation's commitment to Christian values with faith and music.
