Production managers, film directors, editors, screenwriters and cinematographers are also leaving the university, in many cases entire classes are leaving, FreeSzfe announced on its Facebook page.

"Students from the following departments of the current film education at the University of Theater and Film Arts have terminated their legal relationship with the university: BA departments: production organizers: 5 students out of 6, film directors: entire department, 5 students out of 5, editors: entire department, out of 6 6 students, cinematographers: full class 6 students out of 6, screenwriters: full class, 6 students out of 6.

MA classes: filmmakers: entire class, 7 students out of 7, cinematographers: 6 students out of 7," they wrote.

What can be said about that? First of all, that, of course, they had the right to do so. In a free country, anyone can give up their studies at any time and transfer elsewhere. This is what 41 students from the age group of 2019 did, who are now spreading their wings at a self-education association. They know that FreeSZFE does not have higher education accreditation, nor is it authorized to issue state-recognized diplomas.

The University of Theater and Film Arts (SZFE) took note of the fact with "great sadness" in the statement it sent to MTI.

We are not so sad. Although it is a bit of a shame that so far we have poured tax forints into those who believe not in a nation but in a globalist Europe (whatever that is), but more has been lost in Mohács.

Even more gratifying is the fact that it has now been revealed in black and white: yes, the old SZFE was a libs training camp, no matter how much those who know better tried to deny and lie about it. So at least now there is clean water in the glass and a new time calculation can start in the new SZFE from autumn. Because the 41 self-proclaimed heroes were not enough to prevent this, and this was also proven by the multiple over-subscriptions.
