EU bureaucrats no longer even try to hide that they are guided by their personal sympathies in decision-making.

Romanian Siegfried Muresan, vice-president of the European Parliament's People's Party faction, published a telling post on the X interface:

"The EU has EUR 35 billion available for Poland for the national economic recovery plan. We always wanted this money to reach the Polish people quickly. The previous government obstructed the EU's intention to help the Polish people. The new Polish government is a partner. EU funds go to Poland," writes Muresan.

..

The post caught the eye of Edina Tóth, a member of the EU parliament of Fidesz. "

The double standard has been exposed," he begins his post, in which he points out that the new Polish government may already become a favorite of Brussels, and the previous harshness has suddenly ceased to exist.

The vice-president of the European People's Party essentially admitted that the withholding of EU funds is an excellent example of Brussels applying double standards to Christian-conservative governments for political and ideological reasons, writes the representative.

As he added, it is clearer than day that countries with a national-conservative government can never be among good students.
