Momentum's EP representative is monitoring the events and will discuss the situation in Afghanistan in the EP. If, despite this, someone still feels that Miss Czech's behavior is small, but really only indicates a nuanced misunderstanding of proportion, we will not argue with that.

As he writes:

"We will also discuss the situation in Afghanistan in the soon-to-be reconvened European Parliament. As a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, I will not let the perpetrators of human rights atrocities escape prosecution. It is precisely because of such situations that we previously developed the EU sanctions mechanism, which we can apply internationally against forces that disregard human rights."

The Czech Republic is not alone, recently the UN also called on the Taliban.

So far, Katalin Cseh has not received a response from the Taliban, but if it does, we will definitely update our article.
