The Krajczáros Foundation renovated the graves of 13 Hungarian hussars in the village of Takcsány, in the Színnai district of the Eperjes district, in collaboration with the locals. "We did our job together with the management of the settlement and its citizens. We created value," notes István Németh, curator of the Krajczáros Foundation. The leaders of the Krajczáros Foundation believe and promote that the inhabitants of the two neighboring countries are connected by a common history. Therefore, the desire and practice of peaceful coexistence is of particular importance. According to their hopes, an intergovernmental agreement on the care of war graves between the two states will finally be reached as soon as possible. The foundation is proud of the fact that, during its operation, this current location was the twenty-first location in Europe where some kind of objectified memorial (statue, headstone, plaque, etc.) preserves and recalls the standing of Hungarian soldiers.
