As school approaches, parents are reminded that they can inform the schools until August 25 whether or not they want their child over the age of 12 vaccinated, in addition, children who have not yet been vaccinated can still be automatically registered for vaccination online, and the appointment booking process is open for them as well. . The vaccination will take place with the Pfizer vaccine with the involvement of school doctors and general practitioners.

Hungary was the first in Europe to make it possible to receive the third vaccination against the coronavirus, which can be booked on the eeszt.gov.hu ​​website, but can also be requested from the general practitioner. The third vaccination is particularly recommended for the elderly, chronic and weakened immune system patients. 187,000 people have already received the third vaccination. In his statement on Sunday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán asked everyone to convince one more person to get vaccinated, and then such a level of protection will develop in the country that the strength of the fourth wave of the epidemic will not be comparable to that of previous waves, they reminded.

Hungary also provides the possibility of vaccination for those living along the common borders with Hungary, thereby further increasing the country's protection against epidemics. People living in Transcarpathia can get vaccinated at the vaccination points located at the Barabás and Záhony border crossings. People arriving from other neighboring countries (Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Austria) can receive the vaccine at the vaccination points of hospitals designated for this purpose.
