During the third wave of the coronavirus epidemic, the nationwide chain of prayers for those suffering from the disease led to results - said Dr. Imre Vejkey, head of the Hungarian Parliamentary Prayer Group, in his statement to the Hungarian Nation, who believes that prayer does have power, and that it is not the task of religious politicians to they pull themselves together in silence.

The Christian Democrat politician also spoke about the fact that on the left they want to replace Christianity with a global world order that is similar to the old communist experiments. Imre Vejkey emphasized: Christians must reject open attacks and aggression committed to the detriment of our community, and they must call on the aggressors to end the spiritual and physical persecution of Christians. We quote from the article.

As the leader of the Hungarian Parliamentary Prayer Group, I really started a nationwide prayer chain for the Hungarian victims of Covid and those suffering from the disease, because the power of prayer should not be underestimated. I appealed to believers to say a Lord's Prayer every Friday morning at seven o'clock starting from Good Friday 2021 for the dead and those suffering from the epidemic, and I asked non-believers to say at least "Lord, help!". I would also like to thank the many compatriots who participated in the prayer chain, which led to results, regardless of denomination. I have to say that our repeated 24-hour daily prayer chain for our two fellow representatives also led to the same result.

I find the cynicism that appeared in the left-wing press regarding our prayers to be outrageous. It is outrageous, because they look down on our faith and our national-Christian culture with their cynical statements. However, despite his reactions, we continue to stand by our beliefs and values.

We believe in the power of prayer and we believe that prayer has healing power.
There is a power that works only through our prayers. We can defeat the forces that are hostile to us with this power. That is why our selfless prayers, which we say either for our people or for the leaders of our country, have a special significance. I am happy to say that the Hungarian Parliamentary Prayer Group acts with both faith and prayer, as the Scriptures say: "he who believes in the Lord will do the Lord's deeds with the help of the Holy Spirit".(...) Our prayer group also has an international impact, right now we are organizing the fifth Hungarian national prayer breakfast for the beginning of October 2021. For three days, we are expecting congress, senate and decision-making people from 24 countries with nearly two hundred participants. The arc of the main international prayer breakfast is Washington-Berlin-Budapest every year.(...)

There is no other way before us than to stand up for the truth to the end, even at the cost of martyrdom.
All this atrocity is not only aggression and provocation towards our Christian symbols, but also the expression of hatred towards our Christian community. We must reject all open attacks and aggression against our Christian community, and we must call on the aggressors every time to end the spiritual and physical persecution of Christians. may repeat itself.(…)

Gender, illegal migration, liberal Marxist ideology and the emerging BLM culture. We must fight against these nightmares so that the mystery of man and woman is preserved, the family does not become a shadow of a romantic past, and we can live safely in our country and practice our faith freely in the future. The united left wants nothing more than to destroy the traditional Christian moral understanding of society, to demonize the Christian world, and to build a new world that they say is humane, which abandons everything that we consider valuable. They want to influence everyone, from religious people to atheists, from the young to the old. The united left does all this while relativizing values. Good is said to be bad and to be rejected, and bad is said to be good and to be followed.

On the other hand, we must firmly defend our values, so that in the end we can say: "We ran the course."
