1,400 first-graders throughout Vojvodina will be able to enjoy the joint gift of the Government of Hungary, the Gábor Bethlen Fund and the Rákóczi Association, which has more surprises in store for the children every year.
János Árpád Potápi, the state secretary responsible for national policy at the State Secretariat for National Policy of the Hungarian Prime Minister's Office, expressed his joy at the fact that this year there are more people in Vojvodina than last year.
– Last year was the year of national unity, and this year is the year of national resumption. There is no better way to start over than handing over renovated cultural centers, schools, kindergartens, and churches, and starting over always requires children. All Hungarians are important to us, and this is even more so when we talk about children and young people, since they carry the nation forward. It is good to see that the number of young children enrolled in Hungarian classes in Vojvodina increased this year. The students will soon receive the educational support, moreover, from this year onwards, the HUF 22,400 will go not only to kindergarteners and schoolchildren, but also to kindergartens and students pursuing higher studies - stated János Árpád Potápi.
