The future vision of the European Union, the epidemic situation, migration and Christian values ​​- these are the main topics of the deliberations at the two-day Bled Strategic Forum in Slovenia, in which Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also participated and spoke. The Hungarian Prime Minister also spoke about how the situation in Afghanistan is once again focusing attention on migration. The prime ministers of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Greece, as well as the president of Serbia, as well as the president of the European Council and the European Parliament participated in the forum, and several former heads of state and government of the EU member states were also invited.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated during the conversation that the purpose of politics in Hungary is to help people for a better future. Regarding the ever-increasing migration situation, the Prime Minister reminded the participants that he was the first to oppose uncontrolled immigration to European Union countries in 2015, as this would have increased the risk of terrorism. He also spoke about how the situation in Afghanistan is once again drawing attention to migration. He emphasized that nations should be left with the right to choose who they want to live with. He pointed out: the Hungarians do not want to remedy the demographic problems with immigration, but with Christian family policy.

In relation to migration, Viktor Orbán also mentioned Serbia. The country owes a lot to the European Union in curbing illegal migration. The key country is Serbia. And the European Union needs Serbia more than Serbia needs the European Union, said the Prime Minister.

He emphasized that Serbia's role is also important in the new wave of migration following the Afghan crisis, and therefore Serbian protection measures and the country's admission to the EU must be supported. At the end of his speech, Viktor Orbán emphasized the importance of historical perspectives. He said that the current, new wave of migration will definitely determine the future of the continent and the union.
