Tamás Deutsch, head of the Fidesz European Parliament delegation, spoke about the infighting of the EU institutions:

"Not only the fourth wave of the epidemic, but also a migration pressure from Afghanistan threatens the continent.
How will Brussels cope with the challenges?” The European Union has been dealing with decades of problems. Its contribution to the performance of the world economy is constantly decreasing, it is not on the verge of technological competition and its independent military weight is modest. And its geopolitical influence has declined to such an extent that it is not even able to make the decision in its own immediate environment, in the Balkan region, to speed up the accession process of the Western Balkan countries following its basic interests.

Instead, it pursues a policy of floundering and dragging its feet, the consequence of which is that Russian, Chinese, Turkish and American interests will prevail in a region that is key to Europe's security.

In the case of Afghanistan, we also see that the EU was not dealt a card.
Brussels leaders are talking nonsense as a huge wave of migration threatens the continent. The start of the migrant flood should be prevented and Europe's defense lines should be strengthened.

The deadline set by the European Parliament for the European Commission to enforce the conditionality decree, which threatens to withdraw EU funds, expired last Wednesday.
What is behind this threat? What the EP is doing is no longer a tragicomedy, but a frontal attack on the part of the left-wing majority of the parliament against such defining European values as national and constitutional sovereignty and the representation of national interests.

One of their most important tools in this ideological struggle is the so-called rule of law decree, which, contrary to its name, is a harsh blackmail tool against countries that want to go their own way against the European left mainstream. All this political extortion and punishment recalls the darkest days of the history of the twentieth century.

Does the European Commission oppose this endeavour?
Don't let anyone think that this is a battle between good and evil! In this European political catfight, bad and worse collide. The only dispute between them is the application of the already mentioned blackmail tool. The goals are the same, only while the committee would follow its own, old bureaucratic path, the EP wants open political warfare against the countries that represent the Europe of nations. The left-wing majority wants to turn the European Parliament into a political police force, and they don't even want to pay attention to the most obvious formalities."
