Holy mass in the Lovári language and community adoration are also included in the Thursday program of the International Eucharistic Congress (NEK).

At Hungexpo, after the morning prayer, Cardinal John Onaiyekan from Nigeria will hold a catechesis. This is followed by the testimony of American theologian Mary Healy, a member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission.

At the Holy Mass starting at 12:30 p.m., within the liturgical framework, the Mass in Lovár will be said for the first time. At the request of Cardinal Péter Erdő, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest, the creation of Le Devleske (For God), which contains the constant parts of the Mass, was coordinated by violinist György Lakatos and composer Oláh Patrik Gergő.

Among the lectures in the afternoon are the lecture of János Székely, bishop of Szombathely, on Gypsy pastoral care, and Massimo Camisasca, bishop of the Diocese of Reggio Emilia-Guastalla, entitled The Martyrdom of Italian Priests after the Second World War.

In the afternoon, concerts and testimonies await those interested on the mission stage set up on Széll Kálmán tér and Örs vezér square.

There will be a fair all day long in the square in front of the Saint Stephen's Basilica, and as a parallel program of the NEK, the Saint Stephen's Book Week, a gathering of Christian book publishers, will be held on the square.

From seven o'clock in the evening, in the St. Stephen's Basilica, the larger communities and spiritual movements operating in the country hold a joint, two-hour holy worship, during which Gregorian melodies, Taizé songs and popular songs of praise are played.
