It seems that the entire opposition has joined the DK, argued András Schiffer, speaking to PestiSrác about the prime minister-candidate-candidate debate on ATV on September 12, 2021.

How can a rule of law be built by eliminating the rule of law? - Pesti Srácok asked András Schiffer, who said "no way, it's a conceptual contradiction". According to the founder of the LMP, the five candidates do not understand the rule of law as a whole, their promises of accountability would lead to a disaster scenario, a civil war.

During the debate, confiscation of assets, prison, freezing of accounts, a 99 percent punitive tax, the immediate dismissal of the heads of state institutions, and the closing of the Carmelite monastery were mentioned, all as a promise to "committed supporters of the rule of law" after the change of government. And yet, quoting the classic: winning an election with lumpen sentiments leads to a lumpen country." András Schiffer said

András Schiffer noted to the Pesti Srácok that Hungary had every opportunity to replace the government in a free election.

"We have come to the point that the complete opposition is playing for the South Korean hard core of a few hundred thousand people. Of course, this can be done, but it must be acknowledged that even if there is a large-scale opposition victory, almost half of the voters will still vote for the other side. According to him, Orbán also has a responsibility, since he left a fallen clown on the political stage in the person of Ferenc Gyurcsány.

So if their claim that Orbán governed against one half of the electorate is true, then they now want it against the other half? In this case, how different are they from the NER? I'll continue: what makes Klára Dobrev think that two million people won't take to the streets? Moreover, seeing the stability with which they lead their municipalities from Szigetszentmiklós to Eger, what makes them think that even if they win, the citizens will not disturb them in four years? And then what will they do with the Dobrevs and their actions?” András Schiffer asked his questions.

According to András Schiffer, "the promises made for the days after the hoped-for victory are bogus".

"Will the Constitutional Court meet in a private apartment and annul the parliamentary decisions, while two million people are protesting in the streets? What will happen, how do you imagine this? They promise: they want to cancel the laws supporting the development of the NER. Brilliant, but then who and by what objective standard determines which law serves the development of the NER? The electoral law, for example? Because then Gergely Karácsony's mayoral mandate will soon end. Or they pull out the ground from under the results of the 22nd election, on which they base their retaliation. Where is the final station? Who will guarantee legal certainty for domestic and foreign investors?" András Schiffer said.

Pesti Srácok asked him if he thought it was possible that Dobrev, Fekete-Győr and Karácsony really received a promise from Brussels leaders that they would condone legal fraud, to which he replied: "Hungary must be governed from Hungary and not from abroad. I don't even want to think about all of this, it's a disaster scenario that could bring the country to the brink of civil war in no time."
