Dániel Deák in the XXI. The senior analyst of Szazad Intézet evaluated the debates at the Tranzit event on his Facebook page. As you might have suspected in advance, he could not mention much good in his post regarding the expressions of the opposition actors.

"On the way home, I thought about the political debates of the past few days and the performance of left-wing politicians about Tranzit, and Ottó Gajdics' well-known phrase came to mind: "You shouldn't trust them with chicken coop either!"

While all of the politicians from the ruling party were able to interpret the domestic and geopolitical processes in their context, the majority of the left-wing debate partners remained roughly at the level of an opposition Facebook commenter and merely spouted well-known and current slogans.

The lowest point was definitely the new president of Momentum, Ferenc Gelencsér , who was not even aware of the most basic things. Gulyás with Gergelly Gulyás on the spot, even as a government supporter, I felt uncomfortable and felt sorry for the left-wing politician blessed with less knowledge than András Fekete-Győr

Péter Márki-Zay in his usual form , who was basically like a stand-up parodying the failed Prime Minister candidate of the left. Almost nothing has changed in the past six months, apparently he didn't realize that if he wants to be a successful politician, he should change his communication.

The only sensible left-wing debate partner István Hiller , who, however, is already an out-and-out type on the left-liberal side, the new generation is no longer even close to the standard represented by the former MSZP education minister.

Summarizing the thoughts that arose in my mind: these past few days have also confirmed to me that, looking at the current political palette, the steering wheel is in the best possible hands.

The economic crisis caused by the coronavirus epidemic, the war and the failed Brussels sanctions presented Hungary with many challenges, and we are facing a very difficult period. But at the same time, we can be sure: the country is led by people who have experience in crisis management and will do everything to ensure that our country emerges stronger from this crisis. If the left were in government now, it would amount to a cataclysm. We were able to make sure of all this in the last few days!"

2022plus: Looking at the discussions of Tranzit, no matter what was discussed, the European sanctions policy came up in almost every conversation. What's more, the globalist opposition took turns putting their faith in him, claiming that the EU's sanctions do indeed work.

Come on, but how much. It is true that it was not the way they wanted, i.e. they did not manage to shake the Russian economy, they did not manage to force Putin to end the war in Ukraine, but he significantly fattened the wallets of the Russians, while thoroughly undermining Europe. EU governments are already shivering from winter, even though we are currently sweating in the heat. It is already clear that they have to deal with serious gas supply problems (this is also why they want to reduce the Hungarian gas reserves), but to say that we are sorry, we messed this up, we only harmed ourselves and our citizens, we can never expect that from them.

The Union has no horse, only a brave one, which is why it runs headlong into the wall. And the Hungarian opposition does not struggle with vision problems (sanctions really work???), but they have mirror vision. What is to the right, they see to the left, what is upside down, what is perceived as upside down, and what is obstinate, is judged as falsehood. Not because they are all idiots (of course there are some of them), but because they are trying to ingratiate themselves into the camp of the Union's progressives. I wonder if they will do what they have not been able to do for 12 years, that is, they will somehow help them to power from the outside.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is not going to work. No matter how rough their tongue is, no matter how fast they spin it.

Why not? Simple: because we don't want to. And if the overwhelming majority doesn't want something, it won't happen, even if Brussels stands on its head, not even then. That's it.
