Minister of Justice Judit Varga gave an interview to the Spanish newspaper El Correo de España!
According to the minister, the interview was published in several places from Slovenia, through Italy to France, and from Germany to Poland.
"We have bad news for our critics," he said: "we never give up!"
In the post, he continues: "Hungary continues to fight to get Europe back on track. Regarding migration, I emphasized our position, which has not changed for many years. We will not give in to pressure either at our borders or at the negotiating table in Brussels. There are still voices that want to punish Hungarians simply because we do not align with the left-liberal mainstream. They even go to court with the European Commission for this, while they ignore real problems such as the fatigue of the enlargement policy.
I told you about the gender-based attacks launched because of the child protection law: the law is in line with all EU values, and Brussels must understand that it cannot exceed its own powers, laid down in the Treaties, just to force Hungary to its knees.
We remain open to dialogue, but we always expect mutual respect!
He highlighted the following as an important idea:
Brussels will try to interfere in the Hungarian elections, there is no doubt about that. We have to prepare for an aggressive campaign, but the facts and figures justify us in all respects, be it the economy or the vaccination program.
The idea of the "United States of Europe", which sounds nice but hides an insidious imperial intention, was also discussed, against which various parties are already urging action in several countries.
And it is not too late to return to the Europe envisioned by the founding fathers, which is why we Hungarians are one of the most active participants in the conference on the future of Europe! The fate of our continent also depends on us, so don't be afraid to act!"
