Four-time Olympic silver and three-time bronze medalist László Cseh will end his fantastic career in the Duna Arena at the swimming World Cup.

The association reminded that the classic, who will retire after the Tokyo Games, will say goodbye on Friday in the same pool where he won the last medal of his career, the 71st medal at the world competition. With his silver at the 2017 World Championships, he also set a hard-to-break record: it was the eighth World Championship in a row in which he was able to stand on the podium.

According to the plans, László Cseh will jump into the pool for a 100-meter medley outside of the competition, and shortly afterwards fans will be able to meet the world and European champion swimmer in front of the Duna Arena.

On the opening day of the competition, which runs from Thursday to Saturday, the frontline workers, who play an irreplaceable role in overcoming the pandemic and normalizing life, will take possession of the Duna Aréna pool for a relay race.

In addition to three relays of doctors and nurses, a team of law enforcement officers and teachers will also enter the water, as well as three quartets of well-known musicians.
