As part of the agreement between MEE and the Government of Hungary, the Barackvirág Evangelical Kindergarten in Kecskemét was the first to be renewed. The city government handed over an area of ​​more than 650 square meters to the MEE for free use in a multi-functional property on Kvarc Street.

It can be read in the announcement of the Hungarian Evangelical Church that the complete interior renovation of the three-group, 75-place kindergarten has been completed, the tidying of the yard and the installation of outdoor games are expected to be completed by the end of November. The total budget of the investment was more than HUF 467 million, which was fully provided by Bethlen Gábor Alapkezelő Zrt., with the support of the Government of Hungary. The multifaceted professional support necessary for the start of the new public education institution was provided by the staff of the Education and Training Department of the MEE and the Evangelical Pedagogical Institute.

Zoltán Fürjes, Deputy Secretary of State for Church and Nationality Relations, Sándor Font, Member of Parliament, Supervisor of the Southern Evangelical Church District, László Kisfaludy, Deputy State Secretary for Public Education, and Klaudia Szemereyné Pataki, Mayor of Kecskemét, spoke.
The institution was consecrated by Péter Kondor, the bishop of the Southern Evangelical Church District.
