The Alliance for the Common Good (ACG), a European think tank and think tank network, was established with the participation of Christian-conservative political science centers in five countries at the initiative of the Fundamental Rights Center (AK), the head of the AK announced at the Budapest press conference held on the occasion of the establishment of the organization. .

Miklós Szánthó - who became the vice president of the newly created network - emphasized that they decided to establish the ACG because

The idea of "God, home, family" is under comprehensive attack throughout Europe.

According to his announcement, they want to fight for a Europe that represents the "greatness of our civilization", and this is necessary because we are living in the age of a new ideological Cold War.

The traditional European way of life is under comprehensive attack. The utopia of a globalist world society is opposed to a sovereignist, traditional social organizing idea, he said.

Western progress denies the values and the history from which its current prosperity stems, and the neo-Marxist version of Marxism has won in many places in the West, he added.

The consequence of this is that the forces in the West, calling themselves Christian Democrats, gave up everything for power, which they subsequently lost. Because the European People's Party does not have a single prime minister in Europe west of Vienna, said Miklós Szánthó.

According to him, what is left of the real Europe is today in Central Europe; ACG wants to fight for this preservation

- said the vice president.

Karolina Pawlowska , director of the Polish organization Ordo Iuris, who was elected president of the ACG, said that they want to raise awareness that

the common narrative of left-wing liberal organizations, contrary to popular belief, it is not the voice of society.

Their goal is to create a coalition in defense of true values, human rights, freedom, sovereignty and academic freedom, he said.

Representatives of radical ideologies have been making their voices heard through cross-border institutions for a long time, and international organizations are the main tool for them to promote their "dangerous" ideology, he added.

You have to face it. It cannot be allowed to remove from public debate all those who defend truth, freedom and sovereignty

said Karolina Pawlowska.

After the press conference, the founding document of ACG was signed. In addition to the Center for Fundamental Rights and Ordo Iuris, the Czech Federation for the Family, the Italian Nacion Futura and the Slovak Institute for Human Rights and Family Policy joined the network.
