The number of vaccinated people is 5,955,207, of which 5,736,378 have already received their second vaccination, and 1 million 221 thousand have already received their third vaccination. In the past three days, a total of 11,211 new infections have been confirmed, bringing the total number of identified infected people to 874,630 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Most of the 152 people who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of those who died rose to 30,881. The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 800,207 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 43,542 people. 2,605 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 299 of them are on ventilators. In order to contain the fourth wave of the epidemic and increase vaccination coverage, the government decided on new protective measures.
As of today, it is again mandatory to wear a mask on public transport, in order to increase vaccination coverage, employers can require their employees to receive the vaccination, and previously vaccinated individuals are asked to receive the third vaccination.
