While the Democratic Coalition has become the most popular party among opposition-minded voters in Budapest, "Gergely Kárcsony's support base has dwindled significantly," according to Századvég's poll.

58 percent of the citizens of the capital think that Gergely Karácsony rather disappointed the people in the recent period," reads Századvég's analysis. As they write: "in light of this, it is not surprising that the majority (52 percent) of those questioned in the capital would like to see someone else, a new candidate, at the head of Budapest".

Half of Budapest residents were more satisfied with Tarlós. They add: it can also be stated that the initial voter optimism surrounding the election of Gergely Karácsony as mayor has waned.
