Municipalities with more than 3,000 people and churches can apply for another HUF 50 billion to create crèches, mini crèches and family crèches, the minister without portfolio responsible for families said on his Facebook page on Thursday.
Katalin Novák said in the video that municipalities and churches creating new nursery places can apply for a minimum of HUF 50 million and a maximum of HUF 1.44 billion.
The Family-Friendly Center and the Lechner Knowledge Center provide assistance to the applicants: they provide sample plans for the creation of the nursery school and help with the construction with professional content, the minister without portfolio announced, adding that the applicants can download the entire plan catalog and use it to build the nursery school.
He emphasized: the government is working to ensure that every family raising children of nursery age has the opportunity to place their child in a nursery school if they need it.
The government has undertaken that there will be enough kindergarten places in Hungary by the end of 2022, the minister said, adding that the tender also contributes to the achievement of this goal.
