The congress re-elected Gábor Kubatov (1,050 votes), Szilárd Németh (1,025 votes) and Lajos Kósa (1,021) as vice-presidents, and Kinga Gál, a member of the European Parliament (1,040 votes), was elected to replace Katalin Novák, who resigned due to her ministerial post.

In his speech, Viktor Orbán first thanked the delegates of the congress for the trust that they had entrusted him with leading the most successful Hungarian political community. Earned trust alone would not have been enough and he had to get permission, as we give and receive blows, but one person does not always receive the blows. A man with a family cannot make a decision alone and he got permission from his wife. Viktor Orbán said that his wife stood by him even when he didn't deserve it. The president of Fidesz said that despite the number of people who are able to take their place in the party, he accepted the leadership of the party because he feels that he is at his best age. "Though it's a bit suspicious that I've always felt this way. "

You see, the first 33 years were just a warm-up, a lot happened and we achieved a lot. It really wasn't much, it was just preparation for what still awaits us, he added. Orbán said that Fidesz stands for loyalty, faith and trust. Fidesz is loyal to Hungary and the Hungarian people.

In the past 33 years, empires have fallen and risen, from the Cold War to the age of epidemics and migration. In the past 33 years, the Hungarians have given us a higher proportion of votes of confidence than before for other forces, said the prime minister. I will do it as long as I can, he added.

Viktor Orbán said that Hungary is their passion and they want to bring Hungary to the top. The high stakes don't scare you, but excite you, he added. When the stakes are low, our mood is dark - he quoted Terence Hill's iconic line from the movie And we're getting angry again. Whole mountain ranges are waiting for us, he said. There are three types of patriotism: the orator, the busker and the creator. We believe in creative patriotism, he added. There is no clear goals for successful governance.

Viktor Orbán recalled the previous commitments, such as support for families, one million new jobs, the upliftment of villages, and access to work for Gypsies. We will not become a colony, and we will also stand up for the interests of Hungarians in Brussels, he added. 12 years ago, these were the goals, and we got the country on its feet and started moving upwards. We gave our word and kept it, and that is why we can ask for the trust of the Hungarian voters.

Our ally is reality, while for the left and liberals, the main knowledge is to tell others how to live, he added.

Viktor Orbán said that Hungary is still an emerging country. If we were socialists, that would be enough, he added. We are an 1,100-year-old state, and we are not there, which would be worthy of us. From here, we can only move forward if we work more precisely and better.

The Prime Minister recommends Hungary to want more, because there are still poor people and not enough children are born. Salary and pension are not enough, he added. If the current government continues, we can rise to the level of developed countries. Why can't Hungarians be the best engineers and skilled workers in the world?

Viktor Orbán also talked about why Budapest couldn't be the most orderly and cleanest city in the world. Very few countries have managed to reach the level of the most developed countries, but it is not impossible. If we manage to reach 80 percent employment, then we will be among the best.

Through tax cuts, investments, university development, research and innovation, rural development, and even better government work, we can get to the top.

Viktor Orbán recalled that we have 183 Olympic gold medals and 12 Nobel laureates in natural sciences. That is why we have no reason to be pessimistic, he added. The Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that the Northern Great Plain is only at 47 percent of the EU development level, which is why they decided on the rural development program. The prime minister expects a lot from military industrial developments and high-tech developments. In the next 10 years, railway vehicle production will be rebuilt and 8,000 buses will be replaced, said the prime minister. We will buy back the airport and Paks 2 will be built, and thus in 2030 we will produce 90 percent of domestic electricity carbon-free.

According to the Prime Minister, it is understandable that in the age of epidemics and migration, security is the most important thing, and not long-term goals. The most important thing is to protect what we have achieved so far. We catch hundreds of illegal immigrants every day, he added.

Europe, including Hungary, is under siege, he emphasized.

People's health must be protected and as many lives saved as possible. We have already saved the lives of more than 10,000 people - said the prime minister. Anti-vaccination views should be opposed instead of plans about decades-old dreams. Those who produce fake videos and want to procure vaccines on an ideological basis are actually endangering the very existence of Hungarians, said the Prime Minister.

Viktor Orbán recalled the latest plans in Brussels, according to which he would hit people with a significant tax under the vortex of climate protection. At home, the situation is particularly dangerous, as our opponents are staunch supporters of Brussels and want recognition from Brussels.

The opposition wants to eliminate the overhead reduction!

The bun is not small, but the cheeks are big - the Prime Minister recalled the communist saying from Kádár in connection with the fact that today's left is talking about the same thing in connection with the reduction of utilities.

We joined the EU because integration was recommended, said the prime minister. We agreed that we would only decide on a certain number of things together, there was no question that homo brusselicus would take away all our rights. There was no question that our culture and traditions should be given up because of higher principles, said the prime minister. In the past, our region was threatened mainly from the east, and now there is a West-West conflict.

We will not give up the right to border protection and we insist that marriage requires a man and a woman, the father is a man, the mother is a woman, and our children are left alone!

Integration yes, unification no - said Viktor Orbán. The prime minister is confident that the emerging German government does not want a German Europe. The stealthy unification in the union must be stopped, because this is only in the interest of the European elites, this is Uncle Gyuri's world, the Prime Minister pointed out. Viktor Orbán said that every state has the right to stay out of migration and the United States of Europe.

Viktor Orbán also spoke about the fact that 70 percent of the world's investments are now financed by the East. We are also not happy that the West is losing its leading role, but this is not an identity problem. It's a new situation and you have to adapt to it. Because we are members of NATO and the US wants us to cut back on our trade with China, while the US has been trading more with China than with Europe. And we have to say no to all of this, and based on the example of the USA, we have to build the best possible trade relationship with Asia.

According to the Prime Minister, it is a question of bringing down the hypocrisy of the Westerners. While the West educates the East on the surface, it makes significant deals with it.

We have to say, we are Hungarians, not stupid, to the left-wing actions that unabashedly serve foreign interests.

Viktor Orbán also spoke about the fact that the parties established in free Hungary will come to power for a long time, but in many cases foreign intervention intervened. The prime minister drew attention to the fact that one must serve the people, not the guiding ideals, and thus one becomes an unavoidable force. The left could not use the previous authorization they were given, he added. In contrast, the current government was able to survive. Even with the greatest possible elegance, I can only say the worst about our opponents, and then the Prime Minister quoted Kálmán Mikszáth.

According to Orbán, while those who do not vote for us are doing well with our politics, those who vote for them are also doing badly with the politics of the left.

Viktor Orbán said that perseverance and steadfastness are the essence of patriotism, and no one should believe that there is a way around it. The head of government said that, pandemic here or there, it was possible to ignite the economy.

The Prime Minister announced that the full 13th monthly pension will be paid, the wages of nurses and cultural workers will increase by 20 percent, and families will receive their paid taxes back.

There is an overwhelming social majority behind our program, but the main question is whether there will be an electoral majority.

Viktor Orbán said that they will win again, because Hungary must go forward, not backward. Go Hungary, go Hungarians - concluded the prime minister.
