Péter Márki-Zay is again suffering from the compulsion to make big speeches, this time he managed to make fun of the Hungarian parliamentary system in his program Hard Talk on the BBC. He said that he is sure that the parties of the coalition will stand behind him, since even though the Hungarian Parliament elects the prime minister, it would be "political suicide" not to support him. Márki-Zay told the BBC that he definitely supports same-sex marriage. This is not contrary to his belief, because civil marriage is a civil legal act.

He also wants to join the European Public Prosecutor's Office and would even create a European "FBI".

Turning to the tax system, he said: he still wants to keep the income tax low, but he wants to implement a "fairer" tax system, as well as budget rigor so that the euro can be introduced in the country.

Of course, without exception, these are measures that a self-sacrificing Christian, patriotic person would introduce.
