The politician stated that if he comes to power, he will abolish the Child Protection Act. The left-wing prime ministerial candidate also said that he is simply not willing to vote in the child protection referendum and will not go there.
Péter Márki-Zay also made it clear to the M1 reporter's question: "We will cancel this terrible, stupid law right away. Yes," said the candidate for prime minister of the left.
He added: "Who is out of his mind who thinks that anyone in Hungary, or anywhere in the world, wants to change the gender of preschool children without parental permission."
According to Péter Márki-Zay, the law is hateful and he does not consider the LGBTQ lobby's propaganda targeting minors to be a real problem.
