More and more denominations are joining the resolution published by a group of evangelical pastors and church members at the beginning of November. The November Statement is "a stand for the truth of the Word and opposition to the LGBTQ propaganda that is also present in the church," they say.

"The following resolution was adopted at the beginning of November, the main purpose of which is to encourage the preservation of the doctrinal purity of our Lutheran Church, but at the same time it can serve as a guideline for our brothers and sisters living in other denominations," writes Lutheran pastor Máté Kiss on the Evangelical Group website . The initiators of the resolution believe that the LGBTQ propaganda that is also present in churches gives their position particular relevance.

"I am convinced that the word of God stands like a stone, as Márton Luther wrote in our evangelical hymn: "The word stands like a stone, He who hurts it is ashamed. The Lord enters the camp with us, He sends His Holy Spirit upon us." That is why we do not want to be guided by anything other than the Holy Scriptures inspired by God and revealed to us by human means.

We do not crave popularity and we do not serve political camps or ideologies, but only our Lord, as he left us in his holy word.

We don't want more, but we won't settle for less either. This is why this resolution was born, because we do not want to deviate from God's truth. After all, as those who have already tasted the gift of grace in Jesus Christ, we could do nothing but remain in Him alone, in the Word made flesh. This is how I recommend our November resolution to everyone, with brotherly love! Máté Kiss writes. By the way, anyone can join the list of signatories if they agree with what is written in the Position Statement, this opportunity is open to churchgoers as well as pastors and priests.
