455, mostly elderly, chronic patients died, and another 16,017 people infected with the coronavirus were found in Hungary - koronavirus.gov.hu announced in its weekend summary on Monday, highlighting that 6,190,822 people have been vaccinated so far, of which 5,893,531 have received the second, 3 005 109 have already received the third dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 1,198,939. 36,884 people died, the number of those who recovered rose to 991,639. The number of active infected people is 170,416.
6,531 coronavirus patients are being treated in the hospital, of which 565 are on ventilators.
There are 43,047 people in official home quarantine, the number of samples taken is 8,853,922.
