The author of many unforgettable Hungarian hits, Attila Dobos, died at the age of eighty. His brother also reported on the musician's death on his social media page.
Attila Dobos was born on April 27, 1941 and became a singer already in his twenties. In 1968, a disc of his own compilation was released.
Although he had unparalleled success in pop music, he also enjoyed his profession as a dentist, until he was banned from doing so, telling him to decide whether he wanted to work as a doctor or rather as a member of the entertainment industry, writes Blikk . As the decision invalidated his diploma, and half of the copyrights to his songs were awarded to his wife at the time, he practically became a fugitive and therefore left the country.
Attila Dobos subsequently settled in Germany. The broadcast of his songs was stopped, his record was banned, and then all copies were withdrawn from the stores for destruction. Later, he returned to Hungary and proved his talent again, in 1985, for example, he released his second album, New Songs of Attila Dobos.
During his adventurous life, he married four times, among his partners was the singer Mary Zsuzsi, with whom he left the country at the time. In the end, he found happiness at the side of Erzsébet, who was 34 years younger than him , who was by his side even when his health began to deteriorate.
It is not yet known exactly what caused the musician's death, but the newspaper knows that he was in the hospital for the last few days because of his heart.
