The House of Traditions Network - Vojvodina and the Vojvodina Hungarian Cultural Institute organized their January folk music camp in Tóthfalu for the fourth time. The famous event was once again surrounded by special interest.

The House of Traditions Network - Vojvodina and the Hungarian Cultural Institute of Vojvodina organized again January 2-6. between the Dúrmolo Winter Folk Music Camp in Tóthfalu. The main theme of the meeting has not changed this time either: getting to know Vojvodina folk songs in groups and during joint singing. In addition, there were three age groups for string players, violinists, viola players, and double bass players, and two age groups for folk singers. The organizers considered it important to include zither players and tambourine players in the joint musical performances, as a result of which the young musicians got to know each other and friendships were forged.

"The camp has now become a tradition, and a large circle of returnees has formed - Gyula Juhász, an employee of the Hagyomány Háza Hálózat - Vojvodina, spoke about the details. - They are the ones who carry our good news, so in the hours after the announcement, a dozen applicants signed up for the list, the limited number of ninety people was quickly filled. Of course, this includes the eleven instructors and the two educators.

In the current camp, string players, including violinists, predominated, there were about thirty of us, from the youngest to the more experienced musicians. Their education was undertaken by members of the Fokos band and the Juhász band. The well-known musicians are regulars at the meetings and are happy to share their knowledge and experience with the children."
