It is also worth taking advantage of the vaccination campaign, which continues on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, due to the omikron and the vaccination certificate that will come into effect on February 15.

The following vaccination campaigns at hospital and district center vaccination points:

· January 27-28, 2022 (Thursday-Friday) between 2-6 p.m.

· January 29, 2022 (Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Unvaccinated people and those who received their previous vaccination more than 4 months ago are still waiting for priority. At the central vaccination points, you can still choose from five vaccines. On vaccination campaign days, people over the age of 12 are welcome at the vaccination points. Vaccination of children aged 5-11 years is still only possible by prior appointment at hospital vaccination points or at family pediatricians. The booster vaccination is recommended for everyone who received the previous vaccination more than 4 months ago. By taking the third vaccination, protection can be increased to 80-90% again.

In addition, general practitioners also hold vaccination promotions in addition to the vaccinations performed at the time of the order, and are entitled to a separate reimbursement for the weekend vaccination promotion days.

The fourth vaccination can already be booked and taken up, even in the context of current vaccination campaigns. The fourth vaccination can be requested for over 18 years, if 4 months have already passed since the 3rd vaccination. In order to assess the effectiveness of vaccination, the vaccination doctor may consult with the attending physician and/or general practitioner if necessary. The choice of vaccine is always the responsibility of the vaccinator, who, knowing the patient, decides based on professional considerations. There is no general contraindication for any combination.

Unvaccinated persons who have been infected can be vaccinated without a waiting period after recovery from the disease.

In order to further increase the number of vaccinations and protect against new waves of the epidemic, from February 15 the protection card will be converted into a vaccination card - the government decree to this effect was published in the Magyar Közlöny on Thursday evening. Only those who have been vaccinated will have their ID card valid. An unvaccinated person will not be entitled to a vaccination certificate even in the event of an infection, and any immunity certificate issued for an existing infection will lose its validity. The card will be valid for six months after the second vaccination, after which the validity will be extended - as a general rule - only after the third vaccination that confirms it. If someone becomes infected after two vaccinations, their ID will be valid for 6 months from the date of confirmation of the infection. After taking the third confirming vaccination, the certificate will be valid for an unlimited period of time. There is no need to replace the current protection certificates, the validity of the document can be checked based on the QR code More information: https://koronavirus.gov.hu/cikkek/ktk-immar-hivatalos-februar-15-tol-jon-az-oltasi -certificate

In addition to healthcare facilities and public transport, masks must still be worn in shops, shopping centres, post offices, customer services, theatres, cinemas, museums and sporting events. At indoor cultural and other events, gyms, swimming pools, spas, and catering establishments, the use of masks is mandatory for those working there.

In order to increase vaccination coverage, employers can require their employees to be vaccinated. Vaccination is expected in the public sector, in municipalities the mayors can decide on the issue. Companies that require their employees to be vaccinated can also request a vaccine from the county vaccination workgroups, in which case the company doctors can also carry out the vaccination.
