The Fidesz-KDNP candidates for the April parliamentary election were registered in all 106 constituencies, Fidesz's communications director announced in a video statement on Friday.
István Hollik recalled: the Fidesz-KDNP candidates collected the necessary recommendations for candidacy on Saturday, in just a few hours, and submitted them in full on Monday.
In connection with Friday's registration, he said: "So we are ready to defend our joint results, to defend Hungary."
He also announced that their representative candidates and supporters will continue to collect supporting signatures.
This is necessary because there are many people who want to show the left, "we will not allow Ferenc Gyurcsány and his people to return to power," explained the director of communications of Fidesz.
He put it this way: we cannot allow the past to return. All 106 candidates of Fidesz and KDNP will therefore work to ensure that Hungary moves forward and not backward, said István Hollik.
