In the past three days, 13,261 new infections were confirmed, increasing the number of identified infections to 1,759,685 since the beginning of the epidemic. In the last three days, 233, mostly elderly, chronic patients died, so the number of those who died rose to 43,299, koronavirus.gov.hu announced the aggregated data from the weekend on Monday.
It was written on the government portal: the number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 1,526,826, the number of active infected people has decreased to 189,560. 4,741 coronavirus patients are being treated in the hospital, 176 of them are on ventilators.
Several thousand people took part in the vaccination campaign at the weekend, and registration and appointment bookings for vaccination are also open all the time, they wrote in the announcement.
