In memory of Antal Kossuth Prize-winning woodcarver, Master of Folk Art, Antal Kapoli Sr., the folk arts department of the House of Traditions is announcing a national woodcarving competition. Works from the Carpathian Basin and the Diaspora are expected until May 11.

The aim of the tender is to use and further develop the traditions of Hungarian folk carving art to create high-quality folk art objects (decorative objects and tools, objects) that suit today's tastes and can be functionally used in today's environment and housing culture - read the statement of the Hágyományok Háza sent to our newspaper.
