Speaking to RT, which is close to the Russian government, Lavrov said that Russia had lost the illusion that it could trust the West, and then added that Russia does not want to "rule the world" as the United States does. According to the Russian side, " it is the West that is "closing the door on them".
The Slovak government has not yet responded to Lavrov's words.
