According to the law, the election commissions - in addition to the elected members - also have members delegated by the candidates running in the constituency. The authorized member of the election committee must be notified to the president of the election committee, and the authorized member of the vote counting committee to the head of the local election office by 4 p.m. on March 25.

Parties and nationalities municipalities, as well as independent candidates, can send two members to the vote counting committees (szsb) - there are 10,243 of them nationally - and to the local election committees in the municipalities with one voting district. A party can delegate only two members, even if it has nominated both an individual candidate and a national list. Organizations presenting a joint candidate or list can jointly appoint two members to the szb. Based on the referendum, it is not possible to appoint an additional member to the sszb.

The nominating organization nominating an individual candidate in the electoral district, or the independent candidate, can delegate one member to the parliamentary individual constituency election committee (oevb). Organizations putting forward a joint candidate or list can appoint delegates jointly.

Nominating organizations putting up a national list can delegate one member each to the regional election commissions and the National Election Commission.
There are no restrictions regarding the place of residence of the authorized member of the election committee, but he must be included in the central register.

It is in the interest of nominating organizations and independent candidates to delegate members to all election bodies, as they can verify the integrity of the election through their own representatives, check it, and participate in the resolution of any legal disputes.

Elected and mandated members sitting in election committees have the same rights and obligations.
The member appointed by the party can get to know all the information available to the committee. However, personal data obtained in the course of his activities may not be disclosed to the party commissioning him or to anyone else. Source: MTI
