Utilities will only be reduced as long as Viktor Orbán is in power, but until then it is "certainly safe", said Szilárd Németh, vice president of Fidesz, on his Facebook page. "We already proved in 2014 and 2018 that we stand by our word in the matter of utilities," added the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense in his video.

Affordable and safe energy supply for Hungarian families, pensioners and small entrepreneurs can only be achieved with the cheap and continuously arriving Russian gas. This is why the Hungarian government agreed with Moscow on the delivery of 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year for 15 years, he said.

Western Europe currently buys a cubic meter of gas for five times as much as Hungary,

"that's why utility costs skyrocketed there". Since they don't have a long-term contract, they can't even buy anymore, their reserves have "dwindled dangerously"; In Germany and Austria, the population is already being prepared for the interruption of electricity and gas supply, said the government politician.

However, gas is guaranteed to come to Hungary, which is why the overhead reduction can be maintained - emphasized Szilárd Németh, adding: if there is Russian gas, then there is also an overhead reduction. "However, the Hungarian utility reduction, which is unique in the European Union, is dangerously threatened by the coming to power of the left in April," he warned. "The Gyurcsánys are drilling and sculpting the Hungarian-Russian gas agreement because they want to eliminate the utility reduction," said the left-wing prime minister candidate himself, highlighted Szilárd Németh. The Fidesz politician emphasized:

"With the Gyurcsánys, the era of utility increases before 2010 would return", Hungarian households would once again be at the mercy of Brussels' energy policy and foreign energy providers. "In fact, like at that time, they would even sell gas and electricity more expensively than world market prices," he emphasized, emphasizing that

"During the eight years of Gyurcsány and Bajnai, Hungarian families suffered 15 price increases.

"Utility reduction is the cornerstone of Fidesz-KDNP's energy and family policy," stressed the vice president of Fidesz. "Anyone who doesn't want to pay half a million forints more in utility costs every year should stay with us and vote for us in April," he said.
