The researchers arriving here, organized by the Polish Ordo Iuris and Warsaw Collegium Intermarium University, state that the OSCE document is an attempt at international interference in the Hungarian elections, Magyar Nemzet reports.

An election observation team comprising Polish, Bulgarian, Croatian, Spanish researchers, representatives of social organizations, lawyers and journalists arrived in Hungary on March 24, organized by the Polish conservative organization Ordo Iuris and the Warsaw Collegium Intermarium University, reports Magyar Nemzet. They will meet with representatives of the election administration, the media, civil society, and the parties until April 3, and later they will also monitor the voting.

This is the second stage of their observation mission. In the first, the legal framework of Hungarian election processes was scrutinized, the situation of the media was evaluated, and the interim election report of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) was examined. They came to the conclusion that the material of the OSCE

it violates the basic principles of this type of mission at many points, it is often biased and, moreover, inaccurate.

Five such principles are listed: impartiality and non-interference; formulation of precise and verifiable conclusions; respect for national law and culture; neutrality and professionalism during media appearances; formulation of proposals and conclusions based on transparent sources.

Regarding the first point, I was warned,

personal, biased or judgmental opinions cannot be made public in a way that influences the results of the elections. It is also mentioned as a recurring problem that the OSCE report cites opinions critical of the government without evidence, without giving space to dissenting opinions or at least clarifying the situation. Their interviews are opaque, they do not give any specifics about who exactly they asked and what their party affiliation is.

In their summary, they state that, for the above-mentioned reasons, the OSCE document violates the principle of neutrality, and can therefore be regarded as an attempt at international intervention in the Hungarian elections.
