The complete renovation of the castle in Nagyvázsony, built in the 14th century, was completed with spectacular results, the five-story tower, the palace wing and the roof structure were also renewed.

The first restoration works began in 1954; then in 2018, the archaeological, art historical and wall researches preparing the current project started; and the development that has just been completed restores the former appearance of the fortress.

Magyar Építók highlights in its article that the investment of the National Heritage Development Nonprofit Kft. (NÖF) took place within the framework of the National Castle Program. Its goal was – as in the case of other Hungarian castles and castles – to make Kinizsi Castle a visitor center as a historical site, even offering an all-day program to those interested. Accordingly, exhibition spaces evoking the past have been created on the floors of the castle, which can be visited all year round.
