There is a certain discreet charm to the fact that Jobbik politicians are obfuscating and threatening instead of investigating the matter. However, the accusation of attempted rape is not a cakewalk.

Zsolt Borkai or József Szájer at the time , even though there was no mention of violence at the time. Or how many victims were claimed by meetoo accusations, without any proof, due to alleged sexual approaches decades ago. Just now, when Jobbik has succeeded in becoming a globalist, there are thousands of rescues.

Of course, accusations will remain accusations until proven otherwise, but the matter is at least suspicious. In such cases, it is common for the victims to remain silent, ashamed of what happened (even though they should not be ashamed), and are only willing to talk about what happened as a last resort. After that, the question is, what kind of interest could guide Anita V., György Szilágyi's life partner, when she discloses what happened to the public?

Strangely enough, it is not Szilágyi's party colleagues who stand by him or his partner, but the ladies who stand on the opposite political side. 14 Fidesz women, the 14 female representatives of the new parliament, stood by the partner of the politician from Jobbik in a statement:

"We condemn all forms of harassment! It recently came to light that a Jobbik politician allegedly sexually harassed a member of the party's staff. We condemn all forms of harassment - regardless of party politics - and sympathize with the victim. At the same time, we consider it unacceptable that the leadership of Jobbik, with Péter Jakab at the helm, knew about the case from the beginning, but instead of protecting the victim, they are only concerned with how to save the perpetrator from the consequences."

V. Anita responded to the statement in an open letter, which György Szilágyi also published on his Facebook page:

"The past period was not easy for us. We only received attacks from those we expected support from! And today, people stood by us from whom we did not expect this. Respect and thanks to the Fideszes representatives. Dear Representative Ladies! I am interpreting my dear's expression of thanks for you.":

"Dear Representative Ladies!

I gratefully thank you for standing by me, proving that violence against women is not a matter of political ideology. Unfortunately, violence against women is a reality that exists in our society regardless of political parties, with which the perpetrators primarily show that they have power over the woman, the power of the stronger man over the vulnerable woman. It was also particularly good that ladies from the ruling party stood by me, because we are not on the same political side.

We only asked within the party for the consequences to be applied to the perpetrators until the elections, because I did not want to burden the election campaign of the opposition with this serious matter, even though the perpetrators were not even willing to apologize to me. It is clear that if this report had been made in the campaign, many opposition politicians would have suffered from it, people who could not do anything about this violence would have had a worse result. I had to consider it, as I am part of a political community. With the procedure representing my interests, can I endanger the work and effectiveness of many people for many years?

I thought I couldn't risk it. What did I achieve with this? The fact that we were able to find out if a left-wing or liberal woman was being raped, and she makes it public even decades later, is supported by the entire left-wing, liberal political community and the army of rights defenders. And if this happens to the mother of a right-wing, 4-year-old girl, who starts official proceedings after 4 months out of pity, she can only expect that her own people will stone her, that she will be considered guilty. I thank the government party representatives who stood by me for restoring my faith.

With love: Anita"
