The logo of the Day of Reformed Unity also catches the attention of the Romanian press, which was outraged by the visit of the Hungarian President Katalin Novák, and they envision Greater Hungary behind the logo of the Reformed.

The Bucharest media are sounding the alarm because Deputy Prime Minister Kelemen Hunor gave a speech in Gyulafehérvár over the weekend in front of the so-called "Map of Great Hungary". The logo visible behind the speakers - which has been the symbol of the Reformed unity since 2009 - was drawn attention to by G4Media, the article writer of the Bucharest news portal even asked the president of the RMDSZ to respond to the message of the molino.

Kelemen Hunor said: he didn't even notice that the molino had a logo referring to Great Hungary and directed the journalist of the Bucharest news portal to the organizers of the event, the Transylvanian Reformed Church District.

Press spokesman Gábor Kiss explained to them that the logo – a tree depicted with roots and a crown – is a symbol of all the Hungarian Reformed church districts in the Carpathian Basin, as well as of Reformed togetherness.

This was adopted in 2009, when the Reformed Unity Day was held for the first time, and since then it has been used in many events, since it is a traveling event and is organized in a different place every year.

Kiss explained that the shape of the roots on the map of Great Hungary actually refers to the areas where the Reformed bishopric currently operates: in addition to Hungary, also in the neighboring countries. "However, this must be interpreted from a religious point of view," the spokesperson emphasized.
