On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized Hungary's position that it refuses to support the oil embargo against Russia despite the fact that the "Kremlin's war machine" is financed from the income from energy carriers, reported the Ukrainian news portal Yevropeyzka Pravda. Zelensky spoke about this via video connection at the World Economic Forum in Davos, one of the events dedicated to discussing the situation in Ukraine.

We have reached the sixth package of sanctions, which includes the oil embargo, the President of Ukraine pointed out, emphasizing that until the import ban is implemented, Russia can earn up to 200 billion dollars from its crude oil exports, from which it can "buy any weapon".

Volodymyr Zelenskiy also reminded that the Hungarian government argues for its position that it needs significant resources in order to renounce the import of Russian crude oil.

They tell them that there, in Ukraine, people and children are dying, they are being killed. Just like the 18-year-old killer in Texas, 18-year-old soldiers came to us from Russia and tortured children. They were told about this, but they say: they understand everything, but where could they get money? he explained.

Zelensky also spoke about his opinion that Russian President Vladimir Putin lives in a fictional reality and does not realize that Ukrainians will fight to the end for their land and freedom. In his words, Putin's entourage should help the Russian president "come out of virtual reality." After that, it will probably be possible to try to end the war diplomatically, he added. He noted, however, that this possibility is becoming more uncertain every day, as "with the lifting of the occupation, more and more atrocities committed by Russian soldiers are coming to light."

This war will definitely end, I am sure that there will be a peace process, there will be negotiations, and there will definitely be peace. The question is with whom exactly will Ukraine negotiate. The question is which Russian president will Ukraine negotiate with. And it also depends on the current head of state of Russia, Zelensky stated.

If everything that President Zelensky said in Davos in Ukrainian means:

"Thank you, Hungarians, for taking in more than 720,000 refugees, thank you for taking care of them, thank you for giving them jobs, thank you for offering medical treatment for 130 Ukrainian children, thank you for offering hospital care for wounded Ukrainian soldiers, thank you for offering 1,000 you are ready to give a scholarship to a young Ukrainian, thank you for being ready to rebuild a school and a kindergarten, and thank you for helping to accommodate internally displaced persons!"

Then our answer is that we are happy to help and will continue to do so!
