Mel Gibson was the surprise guest at a conference in Budapest. The transatlantic meeting organized by the organization Political Network for Values (PNfV) was held for the fourth time. The actor Mel Gibson also appeared as a surprise guest at the conference.
The PNfV is an anti-abortion organization that wants to convey Christian, conservative and traditional family values, which organized the Freedom at stake conference in Budapest.
Mel Gibson was invited by actor and producer Eduardo Verástegui, who presented his film Sound of Silence at the event. After his performance, he invited the famous actor on stage to everyone's surprise.
The film, which bears Mel Gibson's trademark, deals with the sexual exploitation of children, thus connecting to the work of the organization, one of whose main goals is child protection.
Almost two hundred political representatives, legislators, civic organizations and academics from more than thirty countries of America, Africa and Europe took part in the meeting held at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
