It is rare that a material that combines jazz and progressive rock generates such a level of interest among the younger generation today, but the Mandoki Soulmates team managed to achieve gold status with their latest Hungarian-language release featuring domestic and international stars, 'Hungarian Pictures' '-wakes.

"I am a member of the lucky generation of songwriters who grew up with the genius of Dusán, Bródy, Demjén and Attila Horváth. They wrote at a much higher level in our wonderful mother tongue than the English and American world stars. This challenge is the most beautiful, to sing in Hungarian these songs originally based on Hungarian folk music, but written in English. I am grateful to my iconic legendary musician friends from London, New York and Los Angeles for being with me for 30 years now, but now I owe a special thanks to my fellow Hungarian artists for working together.

These songs are about humanity and what holds us together, not about what separates us and separates us from each other. I am very grateful to our audience for supporting us and understanding us, it is a great honor for us," said Leslie Mandoki.

The masterpiece inspired by Béla Bartók already showed its popularity in the first week after its release, as it topped the official MAHASZ chart as the best-selling album. The album captivated the audience not only with its quality music, but also with its topical lyrics. The members of the Mandoki Soulmates band, made up of iconic legends, have a total of 35 Grammy awards and have been working with great success for 30 years on the artistic fusion of English progressive rock and American fusion jazz.

But not only these world stars (including, for example, Al Di Meola, Ian Anderson, the leader of Jethro Tull), but also Hungarian excellences such as Ákos Kovács, Charlie Horváth, Misi Mező, Caramel Ferenc Molnár, Joci Pápai, the late Lakatos Szakcsi Béla, Tamás Takats, and Zséda as the only female speaker.

The prequel to the publication is the double disc previously written in the original English language, which became famous in the United States under the title 'Utopia For Realists' and in Europe under the title 'Living In The Gap & Hungarian Pictures', which was also a gold record and opened at number one in Hungary as well - for which can also rightly be referred to as a wild success.

At the beginning of the year, the formation highlighted its joint recording with Tamás Takats on the occasion of the new year: it promotes the unity of experienced and young rebels for a better world, in which generations fight together for humanity.
