On this occasion, one of the leaders of the Drag Queen Story Hour organization transcribed children's songs to promote the LGBTQ lifestyle.

The organization immediately published two books on this topic. Among the transcribed lyrics are some that are also known in Hungary. An example is "If you feel like it, hit your palm", which now has an LGBTQ version thanks to children's sensitizers.

The author said this about the book:

“I wanted to convey a different message than many LGBTQ-related children's books: no bullying, no coming out, just awesomeness. And that joy and positivity encourages children to embrace their unique selves. When they read this book, I hope they don't just think about wanting to dance in someone else's shoes – but about designing their own from their wildest imaginations.”

Let's just say it's pretty harsh when someone assumes about children that their wildest fantasy is a hairy man dressed in women's clothes with full-on make-up.
