The politician who previously wanted to list Jews became the new president of Jobbik with 68 percent of the votes. In his speech, Gyöngyösi thanked the membership for their support and thanked the other presidential candidates for the fair competition.

"Conservative Party"

Gyöngyösi said that after the excitement of the renovation, the membership wants to "get back to work and build again. This is what I call on all members of Jobbik". The politician who wanted to list the Jews stated that he wanted to build a national-conservative party. He believes that there is no real national-conservative party on the political spectrum in Hungary today. He also said that Jobbik will be a pro-European organization in the next period. The politician then explained: "I want to see a Jobbik with values ​​that is authentic, self-identified, and accepts its own ideas."
