According to the latest information from the National Police Headquarters (ORFK), on Saturday, 6,768 people from Ukraine entered Hungary on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border section, while 6,380 people entered Hungary on the Romanian-Hungarian border section, the Magyar Nemzet reported.

Among those admitted, the police issued a temporary residence certificate valid for thirty days to 372 people, but to obtain the final documents, they must visit the office of the National Directorate General of Immigration, which is competent for their place of residence. The report also revealed that 79 people, including 33 children, arrived in Budapest by train before the war in Ukraine.

In the meantime, the Hungarian Gazette published on Friday revealed that the Hungarian government is making it easier for Ukrainian refugees. According to the decree signed by Viktor Orbán, which entered into force on July 9,

until the end of the state of war, the refugees' place of residence after their arrival should be considered their place of residence, and they can thus access various social insurances.
