The VII. The main organizer and co-organizers of the Palóc World Meeting held a focused meeting before the important event. At the family-friendly meeting on July 17, the draft program of the event, which will take place between August 5 and 7, was discussed, along with organizational issues and other solutions to facilitate a smoother implementation.

As Marianna Berze, board member of the Tar Lőrinc Friends' Circle and one of the dreamers of the world meeting, emphasized at the meeting:

it is a great pleasure for them that for the first time in the history of world meetings, a settlement in the highlands will host the event.

Éva Kliment, secretary of the main organizer Csemadok Nagykürtös Regional Election, reported on the preparations. As he indicated, the host Ipolyszécényké is already in full swing. Adapted to the world meeting, infrastructure improvements were also carried out in the Nagykürtös district village.

The local population also takes part in the preparations. The public spaces of the village were prepared by volunteers for the important event in early August. The English park adjacent to the castle was cleaned and put in order. The paths and the road network of the village were also prepared to receive the guests.

The central location of the World Meeting, in addition to the aforementioned English Park, is the Lipthay Castle, and the cultural center and its surroundings will host the programs of the World Meeting.

On Friday and Saturday, traditionalist groups and entertainers will perform on the main stage to be set up in the English park. The small stage next to the cultural center will be the venue for mainly literary programs and book presentations.

As Éva Kliment said: among the future performers there are about thirty singing groups, several dance ensembles, as well as folk bands and zither ensembles. All of them live the folk tradition of Palócföld.

The organizers also thought of the children, treating them to a special story tent. In addition to the folktales, they also prepare activities.

Exhibitions are organized in the upper rooms of the castle, and visual artists from the Highlands and Hungary present themselves during the world meeting. The exhibition also pays tribute to people connected to the village. This is how the work of Ádám Cziglényi, a graphic artist and stamp designer from Ipolyszécsényke, and Lajos Major, the founding editor of the Slovak bodybuilding sports magazine, Muscle and Fitness, will be presented. Katalin Gazdag's graceful wall hangings and her collection of dolls showing folk costumes from Palóc will also be on display.

In addition to temporary exhibitions, they also have a permanent gallery.

The Palócföld Portrait Gallery contains portraits of famous natives of the region. The eighty pictures were placed in the corridors and staircase of the castle.

As Éva Kliment indicated: the compilation of the detailed program is still pending. The draft program is diverse and preserves values, he added. "The star guest on Saturday night is Familiar Faces," he pointed out. The wedding procession cannot be missing from the program, reviving the wedding traditions of Palóc.

The craftsmen of Palócföld do not stay at home either. Mónika Jámbor, one of the coordinators of the Palóc Small Producers' Market, the main organizer of the craft fair of the world meeting, explained at the meeting:

around twenty-five craftsmen will appear at the three-day event. They all come to Ipolyszécényké with their own products.

From handmade soap to gingerbread and bags with unique folk motifs to stylish souvenirs, the palette of artisans' offerings is very wide.

On Sunday, August 7, the VII. Palóc World Meeting.
