Hans Peter Doskozil and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó signed a joint development agreement in Budapest. At the press conference about it, in response to a question from left-liberal media representative Ildikó Csuhaj, Péter Szijjártó explained: he is quite fed up with the constant production of fake news that has been experienced in the past period, which is "especially harmful in this period", as they harass the population with disinformation, reports PestiSrácok.

Hungary's second largest natural lake, Fertő - known to the Austrians as Neusiedler See - is also Europe's largest steppe lake, characterized by shallow, salty water, a saline environment and lots of reeds. The special region declared a World Heritage is shared by two countries, Hungary and Austria, which are trying to protect the area by establishing the Fertőhanság National Park and the Neusiedler See – Seewinkel National Park. On Friday in Hungary, the ministers of the two countries discussed the issue of the supply pipeline from Mosonyi-Donau to Seewinkel.

"It's important to learn from the past, the point has come when Europe has to prove itself," said Hans Peter Doskozil State Péter Szijjártó . He added: if we want good cooperation, mutual understanding of each other is a basic requirement. He mentioned the case of renewable energy sources and Lake Fertő as an example.

There is a historically low water level in Lake Fertő. There is also a groundwater problem on the Burgenland side, these two issues cannot be judged together, said the Austrian politician. He expressed his hope that they will be able to sit at the negotiating table again in September and evaluate the effectiveness of the measures taken until then.

Will there be a lake? - asked the Hungarian minister, who also said that since he is not an environmental protection or water expert, he will therefore rely on those professional proposals, the acceptance and implementation of which - according to his hopes - will be a long-term solution.

Péter Szijjártó harshly criticized the left-liberal journalists, who have regularly distorted reality in the recent period. According to his words, it is not permissible to publish fake news in relation to natural gas. He also spoke about the fact that there is a state of war and that appropriate measures are being ordered. As far as the possible distribution is concerned, they can discuss it after getting to know a serious proposal and study.

"Perhaps he should have spoken more modestly to some Western European colleagues ," said Péter Szijjártó, who does not consider playing with communication balloons to be ideal in such dire times.
