Ferenc Kölcsey, who was born 232 years ago, was remembered in his native village of Partium, Sződemeter.

"Putting home before everything is not only a set of values ​​for us, but also guides our actions in the same direction. A new era of reform is unfolding before our eyes, where we shape our actions around the interests of the homeland and the nation. Directing attention to this common action, we named this year the year of the acting nation," he declared. The deputy state secretary encouraged his audience to act and live in the spirit of the words quoted by Kölcsey, as this is also worthy of the poet's memory.

Eyed Emese, quoting from the poet's texts, concluded: Kölcsey was a person with a very strong moral sense and emotional intelligence, whose life was defined by compassion, helpfulness, and solidarity. As he recalled, he was too brave and too modern for his time as a parliament member, so he was recalled. She gave up life in Pest in part to take care of her orphaned nephew.

In his article Parainesis Kölcsey to Kálmánhoz, he formulated his admonitions to his then 12-year-old, sick relative. He encouraged his nephew to believe, but also suggested that he should be patient with those of other religions. In addition, he encouraged him to love humanity and the Hungarian language.

Julianna Pakulár , a reformed pastor from Sződemeter, head of the local Kölcsey Ferenc Church and Cultural Center, spoke about how in the hidden settlement of Partium, one feels in his gut that he is Hungarian, because "the place has a force field". The pastor noted: the Anthem was not born in Sződemeter, but it really makes sense here.
