Citing secret service sources, a Bulgarian investigative portal writes that, contrary to its official communication, Bulgaria was able to deliver weapons to Ukraine, namely through Romania. In principle, the Bulgarians and Ukrainians agreed on the export of 50,000 artillery rockets and at least 5 million rounds of ammunition. The Soviet missiles produced in the 80s were bought by a Bulgarian company from Belarus, and then delivered to Ukraine with the intervention of two Romanian state companies.

However, the obsolete projectiles proved to be completely unusable, but the ammunition could not be used either, as it was rusty. The Kyiv management thus sent the shipment back to Bulgaria via Romania. The arms business may have cost 200 million dollars, and the middlemen may have unofficially received a commission of 15 million. Meanwhile, a diplomatic scandal broke out, as Minsk accused Sofia of having bought its weapons with a forged permit.

The pro-Russian Belarus has a particularly bad relationship with the leadership in Kyiv, so it did not want to hear about the Ukrainians receiving their weapons sold to the Bulgarians. The Romanian authorities partially confirmed the information of the investigative journalists, but the Bulgarians denied it. One thing is certain: this case can be attributed to the failure of the Sofia government led by "Harvard boys", which has since failed.

A video was also made of some of the weapons.
